If I need to set multiple advanced settings, should I use batch configuration? I'm currently using one setting per line, but it fails to validate. I'm not sure whether this is due to my setup or if the feature isn't supported.

You should be able to list multiple lines of settings just like you have done. Looking at the build logs, it looks like it could be an issue with the Custom URL that you set. Did your custom URL have characters like & or ? in it. I have not tested a url like this so I'm not sure if that would work.
